The Little Tree that Could . . .

This little guy is not really part of my yard design.

It came with the house 22 years ago when we moved in the first time, before moving out and moving in again.

This little guy lost half of itself a year or so ago and is certainly leaning more as the months and years go by. But...Lara has instructed that the little tree is not to be taken down.

And so it shall remain.

And, good thing too. Apparently this half of the yard is quite bleak when it comes to Fall colors and the little ol' tree has the most brilliant pop of orange going on during this long, gray, rainy string of days.
