Happy Sunday! . . . May the Lord Bless You and Keep You!

I'm still able to eek out some summer blooms these mid-October days.
Yay!
Soon this space will modulate over to winter candles.
I'm a fan of that too, but just not with the same kinda...Yay!
You know what I mean? (-:

Did you know that I just love, love, love the Aaronic Blessing?
You'll find it in Numbers 6:22-27.
I really love, love, love being able to say that blessing over my children at bedtime and wish I had been struck by it when my dear oldest children were littles. They and I would sing a load of bedtime songs and end with the Lord's Prayer, but Liv and William ended with less songs (five when they were really little but I was down to two when William and I retired "bedtime" a couple years ago and just this early Fall we wrapped up Liv having songs )-: with two songs, "Jesus Loves Me" and "Sleep, Livia Sleep" (a personal interpretation of a Mozart Lullaby some of my students sang when I used to teach music in school on Long Island, NY...that sure was a while ago...1995-1999).

But, I still get to have a bedtime with Livia, yay! Yes...one of those big Yays! And for that bedtime, I've managed to sneak in a daily devotional reading for young teen girls (even though Liv always says, "Can I read?" so she can read at lightning speed, ha!), and we even manage to have a short touch base on most of the readings. And then, after the reading, I just love being able to say over her . . .

The Aaronic Blessing . . .
May the Lord Bless you and keep you Livia.
May the Lord make His face shine down upon you and be gracious unto you.
May the Lord lift up His countenance, his favor, upon YOU...and give you PEACE.

Over this girl who modeled her options for this past Friday's "flannel day." Modeling options is serious business that does not require smiling. (-:

I thought the pics would be helpful for her in her decision making because when we were in Old Navy trying to decide upon flannel choices at 8:30p.m. on Thursday...yes...she was scrolling through a million pics of flannel shirts she'd saved. She did look at my pics, but didn't seem as enthusiastic about the taking of them as I'd imagined, hahaha!

The winner was black flannel!
But of course, what else could it be with the black Converse at the bottom?
Don't you love the purple glowing hallway?
LED strip lights are still the rage. (-:

My dear friends.
May the Lord Bless YOU and keep YOU.
May the Lord make His face shine down upon YOU and be gracious unto YOU.
May the Lord lift up His countenance, His favor, upon YOU and give YOU peace.

Have a most wonderful week to come!
