Zim Zam and the Garden . . .

That sound like the title of an interesting book, I'd say!
But, in my case, it's just a 13 year odyssey with a pole, a tennis ball and a rope!

I LOVE Zim Zam.
I have ALWAYS loved Zim Zam.
Today...NO ONE and I mean NO ONE knows what Zim Zam is.
At least in my circles.
And, I have a really long, 13 year story about my quest to have my very own Zim Zam.
And now, I'm too tire to type it all up.
So...should we meet live and in person some day, and you're just busting at the seams to hear the Zim Zam story...just ask...(-:...I'm pretty sure the other people that have heard already have been thrilled with the telling of the tale...hahaha...oy!
(-:

Oh my goodness...the garden!
And it's already blown up again in a week since this photo due to the luxurious rain and 90 degree temps...plants LOVE those conditions, at least mine are...the humans around here, not so much.
I've already picked two pickling cukes, two zucchini and a yellow squash...hey, where's that pic of my sauteed zucchini and yellow squash? Ack, that was supposed to be with this garden pic, NOT the Zim Zam...alas...I still think Zim Zam and the Garden is a better title that The Garden and the Zucchini!

Wow...what a post...
Ha!

And the skies are not cloudy all day . . .

Home on the Range
Don't worry, it'll play, wait till 14 seconds in, so go sit on your front porch, wave to your neighbor and sip a glass of ice tea while eating a piece of peach pie.

This afternoon was not a Pierceadventures post. Just not fun, some arguing, butting heads, blah...

Then...a bit later, I saw quite a storm brewing and thought to myself, "self, head over to Kroger quick and get some dinner, before the storm hits." So, I jumped in the car, did just that and...on my way...won two tickets to THIS by calling the radio, hahaha!  Then, the storm hit while I was in Kroger...BUT...I brought my big umbrella and had flip flops and shorts on so when my legs got soaked anyway it sure didn't matter because they had been sweating hot for the last three days in 90+ degree weather...Then of course there's that beautiful rainbow above (which was a double rainbow until I pulled over for pics...I really feel like I can see the faintest bit of orange about an inch to the right of the clear one) hanging above "my" farm field as I pulled in from the store, finally... I got home and noticed the storm had ripped off this giant branch I wanted off a tree in our front yard ever since I moved in but it was too big for my little hand saw.

So, my friends...the skies are NOT cloudy all day!

Sometimes life's a blur . . .

Not always.
But sometimes.

This night was a blur as three kids played a version of hide and seek with their newly gifted old work walkie talkies from Uncle J. Oh my goodness are those the best summer fun ever! Harrison would tell Livia where he was "hiding" on the walkie talkie, she'd go running to "find" him but of course he'd have moved or never been there to begin with.  And, she just kept falling for it, over and over again...eventually getting quite perturbed that he wasn't playing "fair."
