Roasted Cauliflower with Paprika

The before and after.
As with my other roasted veggie, not such a pretty picture but do they taste great!

This recipe does amazing things for cauliflower and is sooooo easy.  Though I will say, this is another dish that I break out a bag of baby carrots for the kids.  (-:

Preheat the oven to 400 F

Toss together:
1 large head cauliflower (about 2 pounds), cut into large florets
Enough vegetable oil (olive oil) to coat
Salt and ground black (I use white) pepper to taste

Spread in a single layer in a baking dish.  Add:
2 tablespoons water

Bake until the stems are tender when pierced with a knife and beginning to brown, about 25 minutes (my note, they taste great if the bottoms get a little too brown too).  Remove and toss with:
Butter or olive oil to taste
Salt to taste
2 teaspoons sweet paprika
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley or tarragon (tonight I used probably 2ish TBLS parsley because I LOVE fresh parsley.  Since I don't always have it in the fridge, I've used dried parsley w/this recipe, it's fine but not as good.  I've never tried tarragon w/ this recipe)

Hello JP, I came quick to help you out a bit. Regarding the blogging thing..I also use Blogger. Now you totally reminded me that I forgot to put the Blogger button on my layout. (I upload via FTP, because I own my domain, pixieblossoms.com. You can have your domain name and work with blogger.) I need to do that soon. I started to deal with Photoshop, in my case I use Elements 5, in 2003. So, I've been learning a lot. I got a book and every time I can, I practise Photoshop and I don't do everything, usually digital scrapbook magazines have some great hints, it's just the same way I do my layouts, adapting for web. My layout I build on Photoshop and I use Microsoft Expression Web to manage the html and css codes. They sell books about it. It takes sometime to improve skills, but I wanted really bad to make my own designs, so, I did. As soon as I can I will make some layouts for free and offer on my blog. Blogger is not bad, if you learn how the codes work, you can turn this platform upside down as you wish. Go to the dashboard and read the FAQs. There are a bunch of great infos about Blogger.
Hope I helped you a bit.
That food looks awesome!
