This week in our neighborhood . . . orange suns & meteors!

Tuesday evening as we approached home together. Ahhhh...

And then, Tuesday night...Hello, are you with me here?  I, in real time, as it happened, in my driveway while taking out the garbage somewhere around 8p.m....saw the whole earth around me turn blue, looked up into the sky to see who turned the moon on full blast all of a sudden only to then see a sizable fireball shooting over the tree tops across the street and then...poof...it blew up, went out, gone!  I.Saw.The.Meteor!!

Read about it here:

And then...

Wednesday morning as we left home together.

I don't even know how to put into words how awestruck we were by that orange-ish/pink-ish beam shooting up into the sky.  How is that even possible?

I am forever grateful that we get to live here.
Our space wraps such peace and beauty around us.
And yet, we're only just a few minutes from the hustle and bustle of downtown.
Grateful doesn't even come close!

It's a New Year . . .

Filled with the expectancy of such bright, fun-filled new adventures as pictured in this summer 2017 photo from a new park on the UP side of "The Bridge" that we discovered on our drive down from the Yoop last year. Was so glad to have this pic to use on our Christmas card this past Christmas. It came together in 42 seconds with a lovely passerby clicking quickly as we all tried to stay in one spot for 42 seconds. (-:

Filled also still with earthly grieving but eternal joy for our Ben. This picture is from May 8, 2016...Mother's Day, six months before Ben's death, outside of our downtown church. So glad to have this picture too and I placed it also on this past year's Christmas card.

Many New Year's Blessings to All!
He WILL carry you through!
