My late November baby learning to ride a two wheeler in the middle of December!!
In a t-shirt none-the-less!
She certainly could have done this over the summer but it just wasn't a summer where training wheels coming off bikes were on the brain. And, as this fall has gone on with only the one GIANT snow followed by unseasonably warm weather, by last week my brain caught up with the girl and I said..."Hey, Liv..should we take those training wheels off now?" Off they went and off she went.
Guess what else happened in the middle of December?
We walked to the school Christmas Program with no coats on!
Granted, Liv and I were saying we were a bit cold, but still, we made it.
We dropped Harrison off at his arrival time for band and sauntered around for some pics before they had to arrive. While I LOVE that William has taken to blow drying his own hair after a shower, I'm still trying to encourage him to blow it toward the front of his head not toward the back. (-;
At the end of the program we hooked up with Harrison.
He was thrilled...especially when he heard, "Time for a group picture," as his friends all walked by.
Then, one of the friend's dads said, "You want me to take a picture of you all?" And, I couldn't even process what he was saying because I just so wanted them to stand together for 2.5 seconds and smile that I said, "Oh, nah...but could you just get them to smile for me?" And...he did. (-:
Look at that...I just did a good ol' post!
Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
