Chicken and Waders

Of course, not together (-:  (I crack myself up)

Tonight we had one of the best roast chickens I've ever made.  Found the recipe in this past Sunday's Parade Magazine.  DELICIOUS!!  I'll try a link (didn't work for me earlier) to the recipe but if you don't get there just go to the Parade website, look in the food section at the Spring Holiday Dinner.  You must make the lemon "gravy" in the recipe, it was soooo good drizzled over our cut chicken and on the side of rice.  Couple tips from my experience, 425 was too hot for my oven (I turned it to 400 after 45 min) and 1.5 hours was too long (I did about about 70 min)

Now, the waders...

It looked like "puddles" were melting today (they weren't, we discovered) so I encouraged Ben to give the new waders a try.  Well, they do keep his feet dry but they don't do so much for when one slips on the ice and does a full body splash into the water...the boy wasn't much in the mood for photos  after this one...
