I'm not sure why, but my fun with her car this morning, while she was struggling through two of her hardest finals, AC Humanities/History and Physics, sure seemed like the 80's to me...
I enjoyed myself and she got a big kick out of it, being able to spy the mischief while descending the hill from school. BTW, the car's a rental car because hers hit a deer...she was fine...she said the deer was fine too, but there was sure a good bit of deer fur under the front left panel...Allie likes her car a LOT now.
I went to three different stores today looking for the perfect cake, in between bunny nail clipping, voice teaching, University working and piano teaching...didn't find the one. So...dessert platter it was with a double chocolate mouse cake, coconut macaroons (Lara loves coconut) and M&M brownie/cookie dough bites. Not a bad alternative I must say!
My original plan for her car was to tape 18 of these big, beautiful balloons to her car but the balloon blowing up lady, who I'm not sure I should really have trusted after she put a "Happy Birthday, Mom" balloon in my order (!!ha!!), and I thought the cold might deflate the helium before she got out of class. And now you know, the rest of the story. (-:
