Our house has seven trees that flower every spring, none of which I can remember the names of (though red bud sounds familiar and since the one pictured is the reddest one we have, that may just be it. (-:). Anyway, I LOVE flowering trees in the spring (thank you to our previous owners for planting them). Here are a couple shots from this morning.
And then my nemesis, weeds. This was my project for the morning, ridding the pachysandra bed of dandelions. (If the neighbor boys thought my house was messy in the winter, they should see it once I spend my days outside gardening!! (-:)
