* 7:30a.m. - bid SP farewell until tomorrow (business in OH)
* 7:31 - 10:30a.m. - breakfast, get kids to school, laundry, shake hands w/ Harrison agreeing to play monopoly during William's nap, play with little boys, clean kitchen table and counters and floor
* 10:30ish - head to Home Depot for garden project supplies (try to maintain some dignity while attempting to stop my 20 month old from screaming "La, la, la, la, la la, la" to the tune of "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" through out the store. "You're not going to play computer if you don't stop" doesn't seem to work with him (-:)
* 12:00p.m. - stop at another nursery since HD didn't have everything I needed (getting close to child melt down time but we made it)
*12:40p.m. - lunch, clean kitchen table and counters...oh and floor...
*1:10p.m. - put William down for a nap and convince Harrison that he'd be an excellent helper for my garden project and try to "re-shake" a deal that includes pounding stakes AND leaving time for Monopoly
*1:15-2:30p.m. - As pictured below, my attempt to keep the deer/rabbits/anyone else from my veggie garden. SP built the awesome, cedar raised beds last fall and I put up the chicken wire today. Not glamorous, but all I could do with my hour and fifteen minutes. (I still need to tweak it but I hope it's not too much like the yard on Sanford and Son)
*2:31 - 3:00p.m. - Play Superman Monopoly!! (poor kid, Monopoly in a half hour)
*3:05-5:45p.m. - Pick up kids from school, drop off carpool kid, tell kids about my garden project (freak out when Ben tells Lara he jumped in from the deck and got out through a gap!!), during a momentary lapse in judgement call JC Penny to see if they have time to take a few "quick" pics of my new birthday boy (and Harrison, since I never managed to get his in March), "request" the boys take showers for a 6p.m. picture appointment (decide Lara should take one too since we figure we can get her haircut right after pictures while the boys play in the mall playspace...AM I NUTS?!?!), make soft tacos, feed everyone, try to find clothes for the boys, discover things need to be ironed, iron, throw left over dinner in the fridge, bolt out the door!!!
*6:05 - 6:55p.m. - Picture time at the mall, the picture boys were great...the 20 month old BROKE A PLASTIC SHELF FILLED WITH ABOUT 100 PHOTO WALLETS OFF THE WALL and SCREAMED A LOT
*7:00p.m. - 7:20p.m. - sign Lara in for her haircut, chase William around the mall (everywhere but the playspace), check how Lara's doing and discover she won't be seated for another 30 minutes, buy everyone some cinasticks and GET OUT...
*7:40p.m. - What is wrong with me?, check two more places to cut Lara's hair (she REALLY wants it cut for her play on Friday), they close at 8p.m. and can't take her (huge sigh of relief)
*8:00 - 8:30p.m. - Put everyone to bed, not too hard when they know mom's had a long day. Truly, without any yelling or frustration on my end, when they see I'm tired and dad's gone we skip all the formalities of bedtime (books, songs) and just wash up and get in bed. Good kids. (-:
*8:31p.m. - take out garbage, toss a load of wash into the dryer AND clean kitchen table, counters and...NOT the floor (something has to give!)
*Rest of the night - Post this blog, drink some tea (am I getting William's cold?) and drop in bed - WHEW!!
The series of photos below are entitled "The Dice Whisperer." Literally every time Harrison roles the dice he whispers into his hand (I usually can't hear what he says), throws the dice, counts the dots, moves and says "I said I needed a threeeee!" (or any such number that he really needed). Cracks me up!

That's so funny me and my cousins all whisper to the dice too! But it got to the point when there was four of us and two adult that a round would take about 20 minutes so rules were inforced and there was no more whisperng :( but I still do it slently in my head! :)
