Happy New Year! . . . Did you know . . .

Yesterday was 2021.
Today is 2022.
I was born in 1970, my parents in the mid-40's my grandparents in the 1910's, my kids in the 2000's (minus one lucky 1999! (-:).
Lots has surely happened in the world in just this last 110 years the family I have/had has lived, both good and bad.

So, as we start another calendar year, one we proclaim high hopes for, and that great things, better things, enjoyable things, positive changes lay ahead...let us keep this reminder close by, come what may:

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.
Hebrews 13:8

Today I wondered when I started making those verse images like the one above. I really couldn't remember. Turns out I made that verse image on 10/25/18.

This is the very first one I made (on the Bible App) before I figured out I could attach these verses to my own pictures.  7/16/18

After I made this one I think I recall thinking, "Hmm, that flower looks like a lot of the pictures I take." Then I stumbled upon how to use my own pics.  8/4/18

So, I made my first verse image with a pic of a Hoffmaster State Park sunset pic. 8/18/18

I've really been enjoying this little pastime ever since and look forward to doing more in 2022!
Everything else about 2022 I'll take a day at a time knowing that "Jesus Christ remains the same yesterday, today and forever," which is most important this New Year and all the New Year's to come.

May God richly bless you this New Year's Day and all the year to come!
