Where'd I put my strawberry? . . .

I had my first strawberry harvest of the season!

But before I could take my picture of the haul I came inside, got distracted by something, oh yeah, sent a text to the fam about the harvest, then did a few other things, ended up outside again, somehow reminded myself I was going to take a picture of the first harvest, went back inside the house asking...

"Where'd I put my strawberry?"

 Ahhh...there it is now!

I think one of the things I got distracted with, while losing my strawberry and train of thought, was picking a chive bouquet. Never actually made a bouquet of chives before but, really, why not? (-:  These chives are from a little third grade (maybe 1st grade, I forget) growing project of Livia's. They grow in this container out in the back corner of the "fend for yourself" garden. I don't really do much cooking with chives but I'm always well supplied if I ever do that's for sure! . . . Plus . . . just looking at my house past the chives, this little ol' ranch, 50 years old, but with that opened wall, the colors, the layout...I am still "shake my head and huge-grinned" beyond belief grateful that I get to be back in this home! Our God is SO great!!
