Next we'd like to go tubing on this river. Saw some folks taking off for what they said was about a 4.5 hr ride down this beauty. Now, to find 4.5 hours to cruise down the river in a tube...hmmm...
Anyway, this past Tuesday, William had a "Flying into Second Grade" party at a classmate's house near a local metro park and Lara was still sleeping after having been woken by Reveille at 6:30a.m. for a week during band camp (then they had to run, not walk, out of their cabins upon hearing the trumpet blare, in their pajamas, and do callisthenics...yeah, at band camp!!!), so, the four of us got to wade in the water (oh, you should listen to this).
What a perfect summer day that was!
Wish I had a better phone for pictures. I broke my camera (which I never really carried around anymore anyway) during our Gettysburg trip. Some day . . .
