My New Fridge(s)
(-:
Well, it turns out it's a little easier to have a little humor when one knows that homeowner's insurance is (as far as we're being told so far) is going to pay for itself big time this week!!
So take that our lousy dental insurance!

This guy got taken to the curb tonight!
And yes, I'm one of those people that LOVES the fact that fridges are magnetic.
I mean c'mon (-: (loving that phrase lately), when you can do fun things like this:

I get the top half of the fridge, the kids get the bottom.
And, I used to do the same kind of collagey stuff on the back of my bedroom door when I was growing up. I think one of my favorite ones was with Esprit clothing adds. Wow, they're still in business.
Few of my favorite bits from the fridge.
Now,
Just because the entire house blowing up isn't enough to make you shake your head at the stuff we have to deal with around here (I seem to remember my mom encouraging us to be life long renters at one point...that's a thought that just might get some consideration!!!), I think I'll share this craziness:
You see, in the spring and then again in the fall, woodpeckers LOVE to peck holes into our house. Yeah, I know...fake owls, hang tin foil, sprays, yadda, yadda...don't work! So, until we can afford an entire house sided with fiber cement board (HAHAHAHAHA!!!), we fill the holes and try to keep pests off the house so birds don't come looking. Well, the above pic is a hole filling job gone bad with the expandable filler, Great Stuff.
So, when I looked up one day at the bulbous protrusion to the right and saw a little brown shaded something on the left, I naturally thought it was more "hole fillin' jobs."
But then I looked a little closer!
And,
I MEAN C.O.M.E. ON!!!
Look-it folks, it's not like we're slacking over here. There have been grand sized lofts being made for bedrooms, gardens hammered out, five kids being cared for, fed, entertained, etc., etc., house being kept up (well...), yard, cars and on and on our list goes every day, 24 hours and...MUSHROOMS GROWING OUT OF THE SIDING???
You really have no choice but to laugh at it all and count the endless blessings we are provided!
