O.K., this could become a serious problem . . .

And it's called, Pinterest!

And, what is this Pinterest of which I speak? Well, for sure Bmans is NOT going to find it interesting, I can guarantee that. But I'm thinking maybe Aunt S. and E. S. might? I can only name about five people that I know check in on this blog every now and then...oh, oh...Cousin B and Trick...you will NOT find Pinterest interesting I don't think (-: Anyway, I'm going to need to institute another "tech-free" month soon if I get in any deeper with this site. So far tonight I've added five bookmarks to my bookmark bar because I'm not a member of Pinterest (yet! I just started working on that tonight too...bad move I suspect) and can't "pin" over on the site. So far I only have about three or four places that I go to online regularly because it's just too easy to get sucked in...but this one is not going to pass for a while I'm afraid. Let's take a quick look at all the goodies one can find on this fun, new (to me) site:

I mean COME ON!!!
Could that be any cuter???
I pulled it on to my desktop to email Lara since it reminded me of Harry Potter.

I mean COME ON, AGAIN!!!

Need to email my M.I.L.
Eggs fried inside sliced peppers.
(I mean COME ON)
(-:

Need to send to Lara
Thought she could use it for the three minute science presentations they have every now and then.
Wanted to post this on facebook for my political friends.
It reminded me of congress & other elected officials!

For some reason when I read nursery rhymes I always turn on my version of an English accent (think Mary Poppins, hahaha!). I love accents, so this hit a chord...I've been saying it outloud in my bedroom for a few minutes now! . . . I'm not kidding . . .
(Note to self: Get a life!)

Yeah, for real. I've had chickens on my mind for a couple years now. And they actually have pictures of coups over on pinterest, can you imagine? Not sayin' I'm into these colors, but, I mean COME ON...what a great design!

So that's that. I've found a new-fangled way to blow hours of my time.
Oh, but wait...I'd also like to report that I finally put all my Christmas stuff away today. Some may wonder, "why now?" since Christmas decorations are already up in some stores. I too ask myself that and have debated the issue with myself since July (before July I was still in my "1 yr old won't sleep & various other kids getting up all night" stupor). "Self," I'd think, "It's July, don't you think you should just keep out the overflowing boxes next to the hubby's side of the bed till this year's celebrations at this point?" And then, in July, one of the five kids with me 24 hours a day, seven days a week would desperately need my help/attention and my internal debate would evaporate in the 90 degree heat. "Self, it's August, what do you think, pack up the Christmas stuff yet?" "Nope, gotta pack the car, heading to the U.P. and then entertaining house guests for a couple weeks." "Self, it's September, let's just leave that pile, I need a month to recuperate from summer." "Hey, Self, it's October and you've just had the carpets cleaned, all the floors are completely cleared of everything except that one, little corner covered in dusty, overflowing Christmas boxes...what do you think??" To which I answered myself, "Well, I had an invigorating swim this morning, we're still in our amazing stretch of beautiful fall weather, #5 is napping, #4 is watching PBS, #'s 3, 2, & 1 are at school...LET'S DO IT!!"

And now you know...
the rest of the story!
