Tonight was the night!! I sang, "The Girl in 14G" and I truly can not believe I didn't forget a word and even got some laughs (at the right times). Check the link out and you'll hear a real pro sing it over on youtube (then, just pretend that's me (-:). Though I managed to pull it off.. I didn't win. But I might...just might...start to consider myself a soloist...(-:

Though the "American Idol-esque" judges were all positively receptive to my performance (thank goodness), one of the judges comments should have tipped me off that perhaps being one of the top two Broadway show singing prize winners wasn't in my future...quote "I'd love to come hear you in an opera...really."
