Well, since I had a helper like this...
...who dumped out every box I filled up!
In order for me to pull together something with niceties like this...
I had to pull tricks like this!
(Yes, as a matter of fact, those are dishes in the dryer...the oven was already full with a pan of drying out pumpkin seeds and a dirty electric frying pan, the dishwasher was full of clean dishes and lets not even consider the dumping ground that is my bedroom...oh, if the ladies saw what was in there.) But, ah, I quick changed out of my cleaning clothes at 6:14p.m., the first guest arrived at 6:30p.m. on the dot (there's always one of those timely folks in a group) and we were off having some good old chatty mom talk while we potlucked the night away.
