We've gotten into the low 30's a few nights and have been rather rainy, so,
it's "Hose Draining Day" Whoo, hoo!!
Doesn't seem like a car left out in the rain all night should still look like this!
Still have some beets, carrots and swiss chard to pick in my first go at "square foot gardening" in raised garden beds.
Clean up time soon.
SP started a new trail for us in the woods yesterday. That blurb of yellow is the slide of a structure we plunked out there last fall (I've got to document the swing sets/structures/slides we've got around here, strange thing to collect but off hand I think we have about 7 slides on the property and 3.5 play structures. Odd?)
I LOVE end of the season perennial sales.
$13 plants for $2.99
Isn't that a sweet, little flower?
It's a Pink Fountain Wand Flower
End Note:
This guy had a rough time last night (well, so did I...but anyway...).
We have a nasty stomach bug still plaguing various members of the family and last night the "kid's hallway rug" was hit from both ends by one sick Pierce kidlet (they will remain unnamed due to the graphic subject matter. (-:)
(and yes, SP, so-and-so did have a lot of carrots at dinner!)
