As Galatians 5 begins . . . "For freedom Christ has set us free" . . .
Today we celebrate our earthly, national freedom, let freedom ring!
But oh, brothers and sisters in Christ, let us remember to celebrate every day our freedom through Christ and pray for this same freedom to reach those that are not able to celebrate with us.
Was so glad to celebrate the traditional festivities with great firework displays over a little lake with my longtime friend and her extended family over the weekend. Today was a quiet day with nothing really planned but I checked a long overdue task off my list, relaxed, gardened, did dishes and finally, left the house at 8:20 p.m. for a quick dip and, as it turned out, great time of reflections! (-:
I am absolutely enamored with lake reflections.
It's like a magical mirror of nature.
I could stare at it for hours but unfortunately I usually only give myself about 28 minutes at the lake whenever I go. (insert eyeball rolling emoji and laughing emoji here, haha)
God Bless Your Week to Come!
