Here were my options:
1. The calm before the storm (of winter)
2. Front Yard, Back Yard
3. Are you in awe of frost like me?
4. What, you don't garden at 10p.m. in a light mist whilst saving your veggies from the frost?
5. Little Bit of This and That
Back Yard!
Such a peaceful, colorful, quiet little scene, but resonating a little bit in the back of my head was..."psssttt...snowblowing at 7a.m....snnnnoooowwww blowersssss..." The calm before the storm.
(-:
Back Yard!
Was just such a beautiful aray.
They all got chopped up today for garden mulch.
Hmmmm...anywho...
Can you even believe those beauties can also feed my gardens and protect my bulbs and garlic over winter??!! Don't you just love how this earth works?
Front Yard!
If I wasn't freezing and still sluggish on the tail end of my Covid experience earlier this week, I could have have just sat on my front sidewalk and stared and stared at that frost on that grass. Are you not stunned during that brief moment between Fall and Winter when the grass turns frosty white in the mornings? I am. (-: It just looks so magical and peaceful to me. It glitters in the sunshine, it's silvery, I mean it's just not an every day morning with silvery, glittery grass sparkling in the sunshine, am I right?
I really think I might be this time.
(-:
Wednesday night found me out in the "Fend For Yourself" back garden, around 10 p.m., in rain boots and with an umbrella, though I guess it was just a heavy mist, grabbing some goodies that might have succumbed the coming 27 degree night. Livia said I was nuts, I said I was a gardner. (-: And, I might add, a gardner who just missed two weeks out in the yard during the wind down of the gardening season. Just about all I could do to be at peace with that, but I managed! (-:
