Happy Sunday! . . .

The Bible tells us that even Christians encounter problems. We may have money problems. We may become seriously ill. We may have family problems. But God is always our fortress. He is on our side in battle. We have His promise that He will help us handle our problems. And above all, we have the gift of eternal salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, our Redeemer. The apostle Paul, who suffered many hardships, even martyrdom, told the Romans, “I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us” (Romans 8:18). Excerpt from Concordia Publishing House, “Strength for the Day” mailer...like, in the mailbox! (-:

My friends, I am grateful to have had this idea placed so strongly on my heart and mind five years ago! I am certainly not in a state of suffering over here, but you’ve likely caught the gist occasionally that hardships continue. While I naturally feel the earthly emotions that come along with trials of many kinds, during those times, it is a blessing to be able to walk through them with a stronger foundation of comfort and peace, looking ahead and beyond, that  only our one, true Heavenly Father can offer.

I pray that you too can walk this earthly journey with that same comfort and peace.

God’s
Peace.

Saturday Suprise!

William got to play his first ever HIGH SCHOOL hockey game yesterday and he was given number 11 for this Fall season league. They won 8-3, he got to play the whole game, they had one practice this past Wednesday, they had to wear masks while playing (you try keeping a mask up while playing hockey, haha)!
So awesome to sit in the stands with my dad during such an exciting time for William!
