With Benny the Bunny!
None of the kids however have actually figured out how to pick Benny up though. I know the trick, but he's a jumpy little guy and if you're not quick to grab and flip him over on his back (he's instantly calm on his back) you have no chance. This is also the first time I actually handed him over to one of the kids to hold, I'm not really sure why that is. We all pet him when he's hopping around, and he'll hop over to people and get petted no problem.
He's also a genius, I hope to post proof when I download my phone someday. Benny also has us all using the courtyard again, that's his new outdoor play land. I keep my eyes on any hawks hovering overhead, ha! Livie's plastic playhouse is where I put his litter box (yep, when we're in the house he's 100% trained for peeing in the box which is kept in his crate and he's averaging 90% trained on his little pellet poos, he'll go on the crate floor next to his box occasionally but he rarely goes in his little bamboo house/rug anymore...I think that's cool that you can train a rabbit...truthfully though, I don't think I actually trained him, I think that's just their preference not to have it where they "live"). He doesn't go anywhere in the house when he's hopping around but occasionally he'll go on the carpet just outside his crate...I DON'T KNOW WHY...but secretly I think he's showing me who's really boss! (-:
It really is fun having a bunny!
(and, yes, it's more fun calling him a bunny that a rabbit. (-:)
