I don't have a lot of safe places to put things out in the house.

O.K., here's a Christmas/Holiday thing that continues to befuddle me. I was in a little, local boutique type store recently. The entire store was gutted of all merchandise and completely decked out in Christmas/Winter/Santa merchandise only. And, STILL, their decorated Christmas trees were labeled "Holiday" trees!!! Say what? "What holiday do you think that tree is celebrating?" I asked the sweet little old lady standing next to me (really, I did). I mean, the ENTIRE store is screaming CHRISTMAS (well, full disclosure here, they were screaming secular Christmas, only one small manger with a tiny faceless Jesus tucked on the bottom shelf of a cupboard in a side room)...anyway...the entire store is Christmas and they still can't bring themselves to call a Christmas tree a Christmas tree!

That gets me...
