Last Thursday the whole family (minus the youngest) went to see The Nutcracker thanks to a school field trip (how 'bout that for cost saving measures when in a family of seven!! (-:). I drove for the third grade class (no busses at our school) and SP drove some seventh graders. The thirds graders in my car all wrote thank-you notes mostly reflecting upon their favorite part of the ballet. Then there's my boy (he's the last card) . . .

I'm so looking forward to starting him on piano next year. I think it'll be both interesting and fun to see what he makes of it!
