SP was in Phoenix, AZ over the weekend (sadly, for his Aunt Cathy's funeral) and unloaded these freshly picked oranges and grapefruits on the counter upon his return. For those like me, a not very well traveled Northerner, it's still novel to consider these growing from trees in ones' backyard (especially when enduring another 18 degree day!!).
Part of me is actually considering taping that branch with buds underneath my nose...
The scent is amazing!

Taste of Spring you have there, eh.
We have flower blooms, and little peaches growing on our peach trees. 80 degress tomorrow! You can get back at me in August :)
