Happy Sunday! . . . Picture/Scripture Drop and a Little Camping . . .

Well, it's a rainier summer than usual here, but we're still finding sunshiny days to lavish in. This pic is from an impromptu three night camping trip to three different Lake Mi state parks (the best ones if I do say so myself! (-:). Hard to get reservations to these destinations this time of year so it was actually fun to check out two campgrounds I hadn't been to in a loooonnnngggg time. This pic is from the furthest back loop in Ludington State Park, a spot one would typically think is less desirable first loop, but this one had the best of both worlds. To it's back was this quiet little lake, Lost Lake (perfectly named) that we kicked off the day sipping coffee on this little island and then a quick hike or drive up to the front of the park brought a day at the big beach. Perfect!

Don't judge!
(-:
If they're going to offer me a pole with electricity at my campsite, and I have room in the car...then yes, the Keurig machine just might come along. Tried the perculator  during our cabin in the woods with no electricity in June, didn't go so well, usually bring a small regular electric coffee pot while camping, but this time...hey, I figured, tearing down and setting up camp each day deserved an easy and tasty cup of joe in the morning. I was right!

Scored an amazing site at Muskegon State Park!
It was five campsites down from the stairs to the beach, whoa!
That's the closest I've camped to the "big beach" in many, many years.
Well, since I was a kid!
We typically camp at Hoffmaster with the big group camping trip every year and that one has a hike to the beach. I am beside myself that we haven't checked out these other campgrounds all these years...especially since I am the designated "Reservation Specialist" of the group, hahaha!

And of course, the Lake Michigan sunset.
Now this is one thing that is equally as gorgeous at each and every campground on the lake.
Ahhhhhh . . . .

Lastly, from the trip, milkweed (I believe) flower!
I don't recall seeing this flower before. They were everywhere on our hike back from the Ludington lighthouse.  Love, love, loved!

Now, I do know I've posted peonies this season, but I double checked, and this is not a repeat, haha! Just wanted to share on this, The Day the Lord has Made! (-:

Bishop Lake from the June cabin outing.
This was just a stunning evening time.
The picture sheds just a hint of how God has created such a beautiful world for us!

Many Blessings on your week to come!
May you also find the sunshine in between the rains of life that are bound to come . . . and then go.
God's Peace.
