And now it's 10:46 p.m.!
That's pretty much how these summer days are going.
And I love it!
I teach more in-persons than online's these days, thankfully, but I still do enjoy my online teaching. So, for a 9:30a.m. online lesson, I wake at 8a.m., do some gardening, let Alli out, make a cup of coffee, load some dishes, check the emails and the bible app and then at 9:25a.m. I brush my hair into a ponytail, wash my face, throw on a dress and sit down at the piano to let the people in from the Zoom waiting room. I can not say I mind that at all once in a while!

And, oh my gosh everyone!!! I've been watching this particular patio set on the Kroger sidewalk quite literally ALL SUMMER. I'd ask myself if I thought the color was too bold, was it the right color red (it's a bit more brick colored in person), will it go on the second sale drop when I'm in town, will I catch it fast enough??
And, oh my goodness...It IS, IS, IS, the right color!
I did absolutely catch the second and biggest discount!
I got quite literally the last set in a 50 mile (more??) radius and it was the sidewalk display, so, though it was already $600 off, I gently inquired if...perhaps...maybe...they'd drop it a little further. They said unfortunately no, as someone made a mistake even dropping this sale when they did, it was supposed to be two weeks later. I said I understood, though we called everywhere for a clean one in a box, with no luck. And then, my 22 year long Kroger, at ring up time, quite unexpectedly, gave me another $50 off. I gave Surya a hug...without masks.

Oh my goodness, it just works SO perfectly!

Lara's Home!!
That means lots of Chopin Music in the house, love, love, love!
She has dropped onto the homestead for a week and a half between her college house lease ending and her real deal, "I got a job as a pilot!" apartment starting. Praying all goes as expected with her new job as it really is a situation like winning the lottery for a recent aviation graduate. She will not be teaching flight to gain the hours needed in order to apply to the commercial airlines, but instead, she connected with someone who connected her to an opportunity to co-pilot in the private jet business.
She, Livia and I had a great time shooting down the cascades tonight at dusk, no pics, just out having fun after we plus William enjoyed a Mexican dindin downtown.
Did I mention . . .
Grateful and Blessed?
