I really didn't remember that pictures were part of getting their permit, but it was for this guy! Just confirmed with Lara that she didn't get a pic with her permit, and I remember Harrison didn't. So, that's new.
Then, he drove home. AFTER fielding a call from his friend the minute we got out of the SoS. First time for me on the main roads with him and not our back dirt roads. To say I was an engaged "back seat driver" might be an understatement for Mr. Led Foot! Hahaha. So, next he has a year and a month to drive for 50 more hours, take segment two and turn 16 before he goes legit!
Had a great gathering for Father's Day which included my sister K's incredible homemade pickles. She's got it down to a science and those things are amazing!
I had no idea how much I'd enjoy thinning my beets!
I put these babies in salads and my sauteed greens mixtures, who knew!
One more row to thin.
Planted a LOT of beets this year!
Made this golden oldie because I had a big bunch of cilantro ready to roll. Often I'll grow cilantro, or it'll seed itself from the previous year and I just never get to it. This year I said...."get to it!"
