We did it.
Consider it pure joy my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds. Because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
1 James 1:2-3
The title from this post comes from 1 Corinthians 15:10, written by the Apostle Paul. As I was thinking about the many beautiful moments I was still able to have this Christmas, it was in my mind that it's only through Christ that I can find that space in my heart and mind right now and the beginning of that verse popped in my head. I had no idea the rest of the verse or how it fit into scripture, interesting to have learned it was Paul writing that and it's context.
Here are the surrounding verses:
9For I am the least of the apostles, and not fit to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me did not prove vain; but I labored even more than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God with me. 11Whether then it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed.
