NOT this guy!!!
But the super cool kid that was not only in first, but also first under and I heard first off the dock while twisting in the air (heehee), that kid's picture of victory are on my bright pink, supposed to be red, camera whose battery is dead. Oy Vey!!! And that kid would be...HARRISON!
On our way over this past Saturday, the very first day of the season, Harrison was in the front seat and he did a sly whisper of, "I'm going to be first one in this year." So, I slowed down a bit before parking to get my camera ready, I knew it was going to be a heated battle down the hill. I parked, all the doors on the van swung (ok, one of them slid) open at the same time, including mine, camera in hand, and I stood at the top of the hill with the zoom out to max watching the race begin. Amazingly, after our coldest winter EVER, the water was totally swimmable and even I went in and swam a good bit across the lake. I usually take the first few weeks off.
Of course it can't be captured on an iPhone, but the sun was absolutely SO gorgeous this past weekend. Warm, beautiful days the entire time. This magnolia tree in the yard was radiating colorful beauty in that sun recently and it caught my eye.
Soon to come, a million picture post of my first day back to the outdoor Masters yesterday...let's just say I took a three hour nap yesterday afternoon!!! (Here it is!)
