What I've always loved about this city is that you have places like picture #1 and picture #2 literally within walking distance of each other. Granted, this walk would've been about a half hour (for me, not for my good friend A.P. who doesn't read this blog though, for her it'd probably be a 15 min walk (-:), but in this city it's not uncommon at all to take a walk like that.
Anyhoo . . . got it now? Good ol' NYC! Last year, this month, I had that amazing opportunity to be treated to a trip there to sing in Carnegie Hall with the DSO, and this year, this month, I finally posted some pictures about it, hahahaha!
The turtles are from the middle of Central Park. I took the pic while in the midst of a six hour stroll through and around the park with a good choir friend of mine. We had stopped HERE at the time and I did a big zoom with my little camera to catch the turtles far below the castle.
Oh my goodness, how cool is that, just after hitting "publish" I discovered this is the 1,111 post that I've put up. Pretty cool!
