Whoo-hoo . . .

First Day of Snow!

And that hose? It stretches from the door leading from our wash tub, over the deck, down the stairs and into my clearing in the woods for my ice rink.  Yep, the ice rink that, according to this entry, I've been "working on" for about five years now.  This years steps towards making a rink include buying a huge blue tarp off craigslist for 30 bucks, setting the hose out and taking two pictures of the supplies our friends use to make their rink.  And you know what, if I still don't get a rink out there this year, next year'll be here before I know it and I'll be all that much closer! (-:
(These thoughts have been shared with you today by a lifetime member of The Optimist Club of America!)
(Oh, haha, and I'm still out stacking wood in piles for the sauna I'll have some day...)

Rink Supplies
A material similar to PVC but lighter and easier to cut...I've heard.  My friend stacks two tubes on top of each other and holds them in place with wooden stakes.  Cool!
