This morning started with a 7-0 winning hockey game (thankful our church has a Saturday evening service as well as Sunday mornings) and ended by putting all five to bed while SP was out (well, not really the 13 year old anymore, but we still have the books/songs/prayer routine for all the others). In between, I . . .
Finished cleaning out the veggie garden . . .
Spontaneously invited about five families over for pumpkin carving, cider and donuts...two were able to come...pictures another day . . .
Had a fire . . .
Power washed a plastic cottage a preschool gave away, yeah, as a matter of fact is was about 46 degrees out today! . . .
Raked leaves into the woods. Our lawn leaves usually become mulch for my gardens but for some bizarre reason the mower was turning them into mulch on the grass and not sucking them into the mulching bags. Couldn't see that it was plugged anywhere, strange. Dad, any answers??? . . .
Saw an amazing sunset through the back woods . . .
And then saw it on the house, cool!
Whew...I just might take Monday morning off!
