I'm pretty sure, after thirteen years (with a year off a couple times), we are all finished with diapering little bums in this house.  Wow!!!  I say, "I'm pretty sure" because I never really did an official "training" with this one.  We just talked about it a lot and did a few trial runs over the last few months where we'd go diaper free for a couple hours a few days every now and again. But then, yesterday she said she wanted wear undies and, since we're running low on diapers (maybe five left floating around the house somewhere), I've decided "that's it, we're done!"  Whoo-hoo!!!

She's done great during the day and during naps.  Last night was her first night without diapers and that wasn't as successful, we'll see how tonight goes.  I'm not a "pull-ups" type of mom, nor am I an "wear-a-diaper-at-night" kind of mom.  When we're done with diapers, we're done with diapers.

Done...after thirteen years...hmmmm...handy, yet conflicting all at the same time! (-:

Plus, to add to the confliction, for the first time ever a child of mine has a larger shoe size than I do.  That happened with a purchase of new dress shoes yesterday.  He's pretty geeked that I won't be slipping his shoes on to get the mail anymore.  I on the other hand am oddly in a little shock!
