Interested in the life of a chorus member during concert week? Never thought about it? Well, here's a little glimpse. This week we've been working with the DSO and the illustrious conductor, Hans Graf (listen to an interview with him here) as we prepared the glorious work, Mozart's Requiem. Last night of performance is tonight, we had rehearsals Mon, Tues, Weds and three performances, Thurs, Fri, and tonight. (Yep, I'm tired...but in a good way).

I've been told (by mom? I forget), that this is Uma Thurman's uncle.

(you don't really wear concert dress to a dress rehearsal, newbies usually ask (-:)

I had to be sneaky so I aimed the camera down in front of me, upon reviewing I noticed that I had a good bit of video of the gal's bottom in front of me, sorry about that...though my kids got a kick out of it! Of course the balance is way off since the camera is right in the middle of the loud soprano section...and...fyi, that is not my voice predominantly heard, it's one of my neighbors, big voice she has...

Fabulous! I want to come sing with you!
I'm up late working on a little project (well...a big project...and I should be sleeping during these few quick hours our baby chooses to sleep...but, ah well)..and low and behold, up pops my daughter's name as having commented on my blog. Boy, I was stumped for a couple quick seconds. So nice to have you stop by my little old account of life, I'm quite convinced our musical lives just might cross some day.
