Planting Seeds in Egg Shells!
1. Add dirt
2. Concentrate now
3. Plant seeds
4. Tap down dirt
5. Oh...uh...o.k., Add more dirt (-:
6. Spritz with water
7. Cover with saran and set in a sunny spot
I made 11 of these for Harrison's "Alleluia" party at school (yep, they can celebrate Christ's resurrection at his school) and an extra one for lucky William. I'd been saving (and collecting, "thanks, mom") 72 cracked egg shells for about two weeks and Lara and I decided to dye them over the weekend (no need to dye for a simple project of course). The shells are biodegradable so once they're ready to go outside you can plant them right in the shell.
Good luck!
AND:
I took the four to the Detroit Zoo last week in 70 degree weather.
Nice!
(though today it hailed on my deck!)
