Nice, slow week I'm currently treating myself to. After the hub of all the Christmas activities, the loss of power for 3 & 1/2 days between Christmas and the New Year, all the while trying to finalize details for the big party on the 4th, I am proudly laying low at the house and occasionally doing something productive. (-: Thought I'd post some end of '08 sibling pics since I don't seem to do that often.

Postscript:
I've been debating the telling of this next bit because of one word that's on the graphic side but it still pops into my head when reflecting on the planning of SP's big surprise...so I'm going to share...I think you'll get a chuckle, but preview it before reading it to children...(-:
Setting: night, kids in bed, SP on couch watching TV, me in the kitchen
Suddenly an exciting thought about the guest list pops into my head and I bound over to the couch and proclaim:
"Hey, you'll never guess who...oh, uh..."
and I stop...dead...and stare like a deer in the headlights and it hits me that he's not supposed to be in on the planning.
Then he says:
"What, I'm not staring at your boobs..."
To which I reply: "Oh, uh good", then I turn around and head back to the kitchen.
And I kid you not, he never asked me to finish my thought...
It was at that point that I realized it just might not be as difficult as I thought to pull this surprise over on him...men, easily distractible!

hahahah - that's hysterical! And if he did ask, you could have easily claimed that you forgot for he had distracted you! I love it!
