NASA . . .

Well, this was an unexpected detour!
On our Friday road trip to Galveston this past weekend, my eyeball caught a highway sign shouting at me, NASA...this way...➜...So I said to my hostess with the mostess, "Whoa, wait, what's that all about?" and she's like . . . "Yeah, you know, NASA, it's in Houston." and I was like, "Oh YEAH . . . Houston, we've got a problem, Houston...We're in Houston, where NASA is!!"

We didn't do anything official, tour wise and such as we had miles to go before we slept (awww, watch these guys for that reference, they hit it at 3:02 but if you have 4 and a half minutes give them a listen,  I coulda picked a bigger, more viewed ensemble, but I thought they were great! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWDdKP1Teg8). This is the shuttle Independence, which is actually some kind of compilation of the shuttle Explorer, little bit of possibly interesting info here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_Shuttle_Independence

Cool little side trip!
