And then, on the 13th . . .

It was
Garlic Harvesting Time!

Do you know that I've seen grown men and women actually cry when I've recanted some of the things my children and I have experienced over the last four years? Not just from Ben's death either. Why do I bring that up, now, with a garlic harvesting post?  Well my friends, to show that even when our earthly lives have such tragedies and pain, such hardships and sorrows, little things like digging through the soil God created, to find bulbs of garlic planted from single cloves nine months ago, can mend, heal and bring joy as only our one true Heavenly Father knows they can.

The world will disappoint and even hurt sometimes.
Of that, it has a pretty solid track record.
But, the victory has been won and with our eyes set on the one true eternal joy of salvation found through the birth, death and resurrection of Christ alone, then the hardships of the world can not take joy, peace or contentment away from you!
Christ bore all the sins of the world on the cross...for you, for us!

May the peace of Christ be with you always!
