Last year this duo was number 1 & 2. (-:
This year their team won first place in their league and were undefeated!
This year they had about 22 kids on their team of 7th and 8th graders and they're in 7th grade.
Not too much play time this year, but that was the reason he was even able to play basketball and hockey at the same time. He wasn't super missed on the basketball court when he had hockey, but he had a great time with friends and keeping up the bball skills when he was there.
What this guy loves, loves, loves though is hockey!
Yep, still loves it.
Remember, he came out of the blue last fall, 2017 with the desire to learn to play, then he did a spring league this past spring of 2018 and now he's in the middle of his first full hockey season 2018-2019. And even though his team has lost nearly every game...by a lot...he still LOVES it!
And then . . . his tooth . . .
A story only a mom could tell.
So,
He lost a tooth a few weeks ago and I put it in a sandwich baggie on the counter. Since he's in 7th gr I debated getting it under his pillow and doing the whole fairy thing...then time passed and I didn't. Then a little more time passed and I packed my lunch in sandwich baggies...and yep...you're a smart one...I ate his tooth while working my way through my Cheetos's!!
Well . . . bit his tooth, not exactly swallowing . . .
BUT STILL!
Eeeeeeewwwwww!
Only a mom!
😝
