Every summer, when we make our UP trip, we make sure to check in at a number of stops. This is one of them, a park on Lake Linden. On this trip we usually play in the park for a bit, it has both a merry go round and a nice tall, old-school metal slide, this year we added fishing in. After the park we stop for ice cream in the tiny town. Last year or the year before the ice cream shop was closed!! More than a few years ago already they took down the bugs bunny and Elmer Fudd wooden figures near the ice cream shop. That was a surprise enough for us! (-: This year we stopped for lunch inside the tiny restaurant before going on more of our day, that was a first. Fascinating read, I'm sure.
Long story shorter now...as you can see, I attempted to recreate a favorite photo of mine from about five years ago. It's out on a metal photo board in my bedroom (the blue one) so I decided we'd get an update. I guess I forgot Liv was on the right originally. I'll do it again when they're in HS! (-: Also, no idea what happened to the blue airplane, but the red one's just as fun.
