Easter weekend . . .

We decided to take a little adventure this year.
We're hunting a 140 yr old shipwreck washed ashore.
But, there are no pictures of that this post.
(-:

Ahhh, the whole gang together, coloring easter eggs, what a lovely, facbook moment pic...right? Yeah for about a minute and a half, until the tie-dyed egg dropper device was used to shoot green egg dye across the table onto someone's favorite, gray, sweatshirt!!! O.Y.V.E.Y.

Lara's Eggs.

Stunning, inside and out!
Plus, this was within that first minute and a half...

Livia's Eggs.

Those two were most into egg coloring this year.  William did some great ones too, but the older two boys were somehow finished after about a minute and a half...did I mention a spilled container of red egg dye as well...yes, I do know "accidents happen, mom" but it was stunning how most of the accidents were located in one region of the table! (-;

We were 40 minutes early for Easter service at a little church we found in the area so we headed back to where we were staying since it was five minutes away. This is the driveway we're usually sledding on in February. It was a wee bit colder than we expected, see the snow patches in the background, so this was a quick, cold shoot.

Pics to come of this part of the adventure.
