Oh did I have fun taking this series. I thought it'd be quicker than it was to get three boys to jump off a dock, not sure why I thought that but I did, so I opted to dog paddle on my back with my real camera for the pic. Had to be on this side of the jumping platform after all with the sun where it was, and this is the seaweedy side which, NO WAY, was I gonna step in. Regardless of how many times I tell Liv it's just grass growing in the water, still creeps me right out. Weird.
Anyway, I hope to do a little lake-time wrap up tomorrow...um, a day where allegedly I'll have a full school day to myself for the first day in, well...EVER! Yep, my oldest two start back tomorrow for the first time and the 1/2 day kindergartner is arranged to go to a friend's house until the other full dayers end after 3. Wow, who came up with that plan??? (-: Yeah, only took me till #5 to figure out a deal with another mom where she takes my kid one day a week for the second half of the day and I take her kid another day that week for the second half of our half day K. Where in the world was I for all those other kids?? I will say, for #4 a mom and I hatched a plan similar to this one but we did the swap every other week. So, one week I'd get one full day and the next week she'd get one full day...and we both thought we had a major coup with that set up! Ha!
And, I have to say "allegedly" on having a day to myself tomorrow because you'll never believe that last week we actually had a cancelled day of school already for the three that were in!!! Say what?? On a year that's supposed to be even more polar vortexy than last year with the cold, but a little less snow? Yep! Lost power due to the big rain storm last Wednesday, nice!
Anyhoo, busy, fun Labor Day weekend to kick out the summer fun and bring on Fall!
