Rocks . . .

So, I mentioned the other day, how we make new stops while enroute to our final destination. Last year was the Russian plane grounded outside of Marquette (whoo-hoo, the kids thought that was a BLAST!!!...not really...). This year we thought we'd up the ante with a trip to see a big ROCK! Here we go:

Rocks are a BIG part of our trip north.
The minute we hit any rocky shore, it's all about throwing them back in.
But this stop was for something even bigger and better...

McGulpin Rock!
Yes, that's the Mackinac Bridge behind us, to the east.
(check this link for the history of McGulpin which was discovered by the French in 1615)

The littles couldn't get up on their own so they headed off to find some their size.

And, yep, by the end, we had one end up in the drink.
I was surprised we made it as long as we had and only had ONE fall in.
Ah, the kids are getting bigger...(-:

Soon to come,
