Just like any incentive program with kids, you can use Dad Dollars (not sure why they're Dad Dollars and not Mom Dollars...I think I might make some "Mom" ones too) to reward whatever kind of behavior/chores that need a little attention. The article in FamilyFun, which I can't find a link to (Sept. 2009, Creative Solutions), had a lot of different ways to earn the dollars, some kids might need an incentive for reading time, getting ready to go, whatever. I'm using mine to see if we can have more CIVIL CAR RIDES and other basic behavior type things. Payouts are going to be things like a one-on-one game of tennis alone with mom or dad (well, mom, not so much theses days...32 weeks and counting), extra scoop of ice cream for dessert, their choice of a dvd if it's a movie night...stuff like that.
So, we'll see how this works. Just learning as we go here!

That's awesome!!! I'm thinking that may be a great idea around here as well. Thanks for posting it! A side note: I mentioned to my Steve that I may like to start tennis lessons when I was about 5 mos. pregnant. Not realizing my own condition. ;-) He just nodded and smiled until I realized that it may not work quite yet. He he he.
Great idea, Kristin might be ready for that. Might have to wait a bit for Lars to get it, but it will be good for the future. Thanks for posting.
