Au contraire my petit ones,
this Tuesday it's "Thick as Fog Split Pea Soup" night!
Shall we see how well that went over?
Post script:
On a night like this (or this, or this (-:), I do balance my self-indulgent foodie moments by offering something the kids will eat. Tonight's accompanying dishes were chicken patties, corn bread and sliced apples (quite a combo, eh?). But, I don't pull any punches. I hauled out some left over cake from the freezer for anyone that had at least a spoonful. I'll have you know, one of the children didn't even make gagging noises or shove chicken patty quickly in his mouth after his spoonful!! Success!! (baby steps here folks)

I love the "I'm not eating that". Too funny! Mothers of the world unite!
Hi from Alaska! fun post, I wanted to check out your blog; your household has character! Love it. Oh, and I'm listening to the birds chirp right now actually. :) Thanks.
My kids are weird they actually beg for pea soup, they love it! I love it too! yum! They might get pickier when they get a little older though. I need to film them loving it, so I can show them later to prove it!
