First leg of the trip.

The market was crashing and burning when we left so Livia needed to call her broker.

He was busy driving a bunch of hooligans north at the time and couldn't be reached.

Probably for the better.

Investors need to stay calm and ride out those crazy days on Wall Street!

And what's the first thing you do when you're a hop, skip and a jump away from the U.P.?

Start throwin' rocks in the water.

An all time favorite pastime for all the kids.

As has become our tradition over the past few years, we're fond of stopping at the bridge on the lower side. Then we take time to explore new sites in both peninsulas on the way up. Can't wait to share some new discoveries later.

No need for me to get into which route he takes verses which route we take but I'm just sayin'...you really might enjoy the scenery on highway 2 as well as the shorter trip! (-;
